No Greater Game

Today was a great Jackals game, they were supposed to play the Sussex Skyhawks. Key word, supposed. The game got rained out before it even started. Being wet with 24 other kids under a tent was really GREAT if I liked being cramped. It would have been a good day if we at least made it to the 2nd inning. It was a wet day.

The Fighting Bulls

Today we interviewed two players from the New York Red Bulls and the assistant coach. First we interviewed Luke Sassano D/M. He was asked 'How does it feel playing with older people?' His response was,"It feels great with all the experience." Another question was 'Who inspired you to get into soccer?' "My Parents." He answered. The last question he got was about the World Cup and who he wanted to win. He said that he wanted Spain. Next we interviewed the assistant coach, Richie Williams. He wasn't really talkative, except that he wanted Spain. Then we talked to Danleigh Borman another D/M. Mr. Borman also wants Spain to win, no one wants Netherlands, WHY!? Well, anyway it was a good day except the walk.

Bruce Harper

I met with Bruce Harper today and I asked him,"Watching Football today, would you play with a different team or still play with the Jets.?" His response was 'I tried to get away from the Jets but got stuck on the Jets.' The next question I asked him was,"Did you play for the money or the fans?" He answered,'I played for myself.'
